Thank you for your interest in the Reach for the STARS Scholarships offered by Electa Chapter No. 14, Prince Hall Order Eastern Star, New York. The 2026 application period is now open for the following awards:

 

• The Margaret Harris $1,000 Scholarship

• The Ruth E. Miller $500 Book Award

• The $800 Leadership & Service Past Matrons/Past Patrons Award

 

These awards support high-need students from under-served communities as they begin their college journey. Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance, financial need, and meaningful community involvement. The electronic application and all required documents must be submitted by May 1, 2026. Late submissions cannot be reviewed. Please use the application link to complete your submission and upload all required materials.

 

Applicants will receive status updates by June 1, 2026. Award recipients will be invited to attend the Father Appreciation & Scholarship Luncheon on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Prince Hall Masonic Temple, 454 West 155th Street, Harlem, New York. Each recipient will receive one complimentary ticket. Families and guests may purchase additional tickets and congratulatory messages. Additional details will be shared with selected recipients.

 

Before scholarship funds are released, recipients must provide proof of college enrollment, such as a commitment letter, fall class schedule, or enrollment deposit confirmation.
